Mahidol University Faculty of Public Health signed MOU with China Medical University

Associate Prof. Phitaya Charupoonphol from Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, together with his 38 colleagues, planed to participate in 41st APACPH Conference. Mahidol University has had close academic cooperation with CMU for a long time; therefore, the delegation of Mahidol University scheduled to visit CMU on 8th of Dec to renew the MOU after APACPH Conference.

College of Public Health, China Medical University had signed an agreement with Mahidol University in 2006. Both parties have had intensively academic exchanges since then. Associate Prof. Orawan Kaewboonchoo, Mahidol University, along with 11 professors and students arrived at CMU to learn the evaluation of workplace environment program provided by Institution of Environmental Health this May. Our president, Prof. Huang, together with Prof. Fung-Chang Sung, Prof. Wen-Chi Chen, Prof Yuan-Shiun Chang and Associate Prof. Bih-Cheng Chen, visited Mahidol University this Nov to make closer relationship between both parties.

The academic discussion was chaired by Prof. Huang and hosted by Prof. Sung, Director for Center for International Affairs. During the discussion, the representatives from Mahidol University introduced their university and goals and renewed the agreement. In addition, several professors from Mahidol University admired the history of CMU on Chinese Medicine and Chinese herbs, asked for visiting CMU campus and CMUH and expected to have future mutual cooperation in terms of training and academic exchanges.
