Zhung-Hua Vocational Education Association in Anhui visited China Medical University

Mr. Guang-Ning Lei, Deputy Director of Zhung-Hua Vocational Education Association in Anhui and Party Committee Secretary for Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, led a tour to CMU on 30th of Nov, 2009 to discuss the program combining Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine, Molecular Biology and teaching trainings. Anhui University of TCM was founded in 1959 with TCM, Chinese herbs and Acupuncture as their specialties. The university currently has around nine thousand five-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, five hundred graduate students and 77 overseas students.

Prof. Ying-Shiung Lee, Vice- President of CMU, received the guests on 30th of Nov. During the discussion, Mr. Lei briefly introduced Anhui University of TCM and was interested in the difference on TCM education system between Taiwan and China. Prof. Kao explained the TCM education system in CMU, and Prof, Lee pointed out that it will be better to get advantages from each other which would create a win-win situation. Mr. Lei also looks forward to having future cooperation and more academic exchanges between both universities
